CTC In-Hand
CTC to In-Hand Calculator
Split annual CTC using the percentages you enter, then estimate monthly take-home after PF, professional tax and illustrative new-regime tax.
CTC structure in this model
Basic is a percentage of CTC. HRA is a percentage of basic. Employer PF is a percentage of basic and is treated as part of CTC. Special allowance is the remainder.
In-hand estimate
In-hand ≈ Gross − PF − professional tax − income tax / 12
Tax is estimated from illustrative new-regime slabs. This is a payroll sketch, not Form 16.
Frequently asked questions
Are these tax figures current law?
No. Slabs, rebates and deductions are illustrative assumptions with a last-updated date. They are not verified as current. Confirm on the Income Tax Department website or with a professional before filing.
Why is in-hand much lower than CTC / 12?
Employer PF sits inside CTC but is not paid in cash. Employee PF, professional tax and income tax also come out of the monthly gross.
Can I model bonus or ESOP?
Not in this version. Keep variable pay out of CTC or run a second scenario that includes it as income.
